What is my cultural background? My dads family is mostly Norwegian and my moms family is German, so I am a mix of the two.
What family traditions regarding play have been passed down? In my family the only sport we have played is bowling. When we lived in North Dakota, my uncle owns a bowling alley. So we were usually there at least 3 days out of the week.
What family Christmas traditions have been passed down from one generation to the next? Usually on Christmas eve we go out to my Grandma's house and then Santa makes an appearance (which is usually played by one of my cousins). In my immediate family we draw names for the person who we are going to buy a gift for, then we set a limit usually $30 or $40. And for supper, when we celebrate our immediate family Christmas, we have a taco ring.
What family traditions have been about the high school years…....I don't really remember any specific tradition while we were in high school.
What family traditions have been passed down from one generation to the next in the are of marriage and family? Traditional church weddings are normal in my family. Usually in the church that the female attends.
What other unique family traditions have been passed down? On Sundays, after church, we would normally go out to eat. Then after that we would play games or another sort of activity in the afternoon as a family. So in my family Sunday was family day.
